Black tomato
Details
A stunning jet black tomato. Originally developed by the Oregon State University from crossing the commercial tomato with the black species Solanum peruvianum. They trusted one man with the seeds for propagation but this guy released the un-finalised version all over the world. Breeders who got hold of the seeds started using it to improve the taste but keeping the black skin. This version is from about ten generations down the line to make the taste better.
